The Dog Stop Alarm releases a loud blast of high pitched sound at the push of a button. Most dogs (and people) find this startling and it is a good way to interrupt unwanted behaviour. It needs to be followed swiftly with a short, sharp command whilst the focus of the dog has been moved over to you. It will not work with all dogs, but can be very helpful for many. The Dog Stop Alarm needs to be used carefully and responsibly and should be regarded as a training aid, not a complete answer in itself, or most dogs will gradually become de-sensitised to it.
Dog Stop Alarm interrupts barking, aggression, fighting, food stealing, car hysteria and other unwanted behaviours. Confronted with a short blast from the Dog Stop, followed by a command, eg sit, down or stay, it works wonders. For a short blast, press the cap down lightly. For a continuous alarm, press cap down firmly and lock-on. To stop the alarm pull off the cap and replace gently.
